The late Lance Corporal Janes will be greatly missed at Great Kingshill when peace is restored as he was a very useful and popular resident.\u00a0 He took an interest in everything connected with the welfare of the village, and was an active member of the cricket, football, and rifle clubs.\u00a0 He joined the Bucks Territorials immediately on the outbreak of war and left England with the lst Battalion.\u00a0 Everyone in Great Kingshill feels great sympathy with Mr and Mrs A Janes in their sad bereavement.<\/p>\n
